Sucrose is manufactured by all green plants, only sugar cane and sugar beet are used commercially. The less refined a sugar, the better the balance between nutrients (flavour) and calories becomes. Light Soft Brown has approx. 3-4 % molasses. Enjoy the pure unadulterated organic sweetness!
